ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION TEACHER
The Barnstable Public Schools is looking for a special education teacher for the Middle School’s Alternative Education Program. The program services students with learning, emotional, and behavioral difficulties. The candidate should have experience working in alternative education settings, conducting behavior assessments, developing intervention plans, and teaching content courses, as well as social skills and life skills curricula. Preference will be given to candidates with a license in special education and highly qualified in at least one subject area.
